    Happy Monday everyone! We have a lengthy update, so let’s jump right in! Congrats to the following patch winners: Genaro & Andrea, both for 9 SNAPs!

    We have 2 more weeks of league left, tomorrow 04/12 and the following Tuesday 04/19. Then we have playoffs 04/26. We then roll right into summer session on 05/03. If you have any roster changes, please let us know so the schedule can be set up right away without any delay! Also, if anyone is interested in becoming a team captain and either bringing in your own team or want some help from us building you a team, let us know! We will help in either capacity to ensure there are solid teams. Keep in mind there are captain incentives, including a free 10 ball B&R ticket every week as well as a captain & co-captain singles tournament where the winner gets free league play all session!

    Speaking of captain/co-captain tournament: the next one for Summer Session is scheduled for Saturday, May 14 starting at noon. This is a singles 8 ball event, double elimination. Captain and co-captain of each team is eligible to play, free of charge, for a chance to win free league dues for a session. In the event either the captain or co-captain chooses not to play, he/she can designate another individual to take his/her place.

    To recap some upcoming dates:
    – 04/19: Last week of Spring Session
    – 04/26: Spring Session playoff
    – 05/03: First week of Summer Session
    – 05/14: Captain/Co-Captain 8 ball tournament

    As you know, we came back from Vegas a couple weeks ago. We want to highlight the teams & individuals who represented H-Town to the best of their abilities. Please congratulate the following:

    8 Ball Team: Night Moves – placed 49 out of 74
    8 Ball Team: M8P2 – placed 33 out of 74
    9 Ball Team: Pocket Shots – placed 13 out of 23
    8 Ball Single: Geury M – placed 7 out of 54
    9 Ball Single: Geury M – placed 17 out of 20
    10 Ball Single: Geury M – placed 17 out of 24
    10 Ball Single: JaRon D – placed 9 out of 24
    League Manager: Phil T – placed 5 out of 8

    While in Vegas, we attended a league manager’s meeting where we were able to get some guidelines in how the leagues are being operated. One thing we want to start doing beginning the summer session is to rank teams based off of Points per Set rather than the total points earned. This eliminates the issues we have with bye weeks not being equal throughout the session. Again, this change will take place starting the summer session and going forward.

    Congrats to last week’s 10 ball break & run winner: Bert! He was able to make 1 ball off the break and walked away with $288! Current pot is at $2,860.00, making each ball worth $286.00. Good luck to the next drawn contestant!

    Updates have been completed! Congrats to Darrell W for earning the 9 SNAP patch!

    Results are in for the standings for Fall Session 2021. Congrats to the first place teams for 8 ball: Lady & Champs, and for 9 ball: Tuff Break.

    As both teams already qualified for the Vegas Qualifying Tournament from previous sessions, the spot goes to the next available teams. Qualifying automatically for 8 ball is Night Moves, and for 9 ball is Pocket Shots. Congrats to those teams as well!

    Next week’s playoff will be between the following teams: 8 Ball – Tuff Break and Shot Callers and 9 Ball – Shot Callers and Night Moves

    As a reminder for the teams participating in the playoffs, playbacks are NOT allowed. The teams must have 5 players to participate, each player having a minimum of 4 matches played during this session.

    Playoffs will take place next Tuesday at 7:30. Come out and support these teams as they play for the last remaining spots in the VQT! Best of luck to all the players!

    Updates have been completed! Congrats to the following patch winners: Sebastian M (9 SNAP), Chuck R (9 TR), and Robert B (8 TR).

    Tomorrow will be the last night of the Fall Session. The week after (12/21) will be playoffs week. The teams participating in the playoffs will be announced by Wednesday evening. Please remember that playoffs are considered a higher level tournament, so playbacks are NOT allowed. The teams must have 5 players to participate, each player having a minimum of 4 matches played during this session.

    The following Tuesday 12/28 will be an off week for the whole league. Spring session will pick back up the first Tuesday after New Year (01/04). If anyone is interested in creating a new team, bringing on new team members, or have any member changes, please let us know so we can get next session started with updated member lists.

    10 Ball B&R pot is currently at $1,910.00 with each ball worth $191.00 apiece. Good luck to the next drawn contestant!
