FORFEITS & PLAYBACKS
  • Forfeits are considered 100 points during league season. During Vegas Qualifying Tournament (VQT), forfeits retain the usual 200 point value.
  • Forefeits DO NOT count as a played week.
  • No playbacks allowed in yearly Vegas Qualifying Tournament (VQT)
    • VQT participation holds same requirements as Nationals
  • 1 playback is mandatory before any forfeits can occur
  • The team with all players present chooses forfeits or reschedules after playback condition is met
  • Playbacks should be announced as soon as possible. As soon as a playback is declared, play the playback FIRST on the last playable set. This ensures maximum number of players available to choose from.
  • Playback Selection: The player currently designated for the playback has sole authority to select their opponent from the other team’s available roster. This decision rests entirely with the player, not the team captain. Once selected, the playback opponent is required to play a minimum of two sets that evening.
  • Playback participation is voluntary. If an opposing player refuses to participate in a playback set, the player can then choose another available player or choose to record a forfeit in accordance with league standards.
  • Forefeits are strongly discouraged. Teams are expected to exhaust all efforts to reschedule matches within the required two-week window before opting for a forfeit.
