The road to Vegas
Each year, H-Town Central sends league-sponsored representation to the USA Pool League Nationals at Westgate Las Vegas. Here’s how qualification, payout, and eligibility work.
How to get to Vegas
There are 3 ways to earn your spot: Teams, Singles, and Ladies. Anyone who doesn’t win can still go to Nationals by paying their own way. You must be on an active team roster in that discipline at the time of competition to qualify.
- Played weekly throughout each session with 3 sessions taking place per year.
- Top 1 or 2 ranked teams in a regular session get an automatic VQT spot (depending on division)
- Max of 6 spots in the Vegas Qualifier per division (2 teams per session)
- Winning team of the Vegas Qualifier wins contribution for the Vegas trip
- Team must have at least 2 original members from the Fall session
- Singles Straight to Vegas tournament held once a year to qualify
- Winner(s) of the Vegas Qualifier win a contribution for the trip to Las Vegas
- 8 Ball only, ladies only
- Same criteria as team format with 5 ladies per team playing 3 matches
- Teams can be built from existing 8 ball members
- Does not need to meet the “Original Members” criterion
What the league covers
League-sponsored team participants receive the following based on prize-fund availability. Funds are paid directly to vendors.

HOTEL AT WESTGATE
Up to $100 / night
TEAM JERSEY
Up to $50
The structure is based on the average cost of flight and hotel stay at Westgate for the duration of the attending event. For example, if the event lasts 4 days, the hotel stay will be for 5 nights (check-in one day prior to event start + 4 event days = checkout one day after it ends). Any remaining funds will be allocated toward sending additional league representation to Vegas.
*If individuals pay for their own flight, hotel, or jersey – reimbursements up to the allotted amounts require proof of purchase and are paid out once arrived at Nationals. Winners must attend Nationals to receive any reimbursements.
Stay qualified to compete
Eligibility must be maintained throughout the season to play in the Vegas Qualifier Tournament and to compete in Nationals in Vegas.

The top 4 teams not yet qualified can earn a Wild Card berth. Standings are tracked for the year at the end of each session.
