We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and enjoyed the week off!

There are three more weeks of the Fall session remaining. As mentioned in previous updates, four weeks of play are needed in order to qualify for higher level tournament play. In addition, to play in Vegas in March 2022, players must have a minimum of 2 matches in 2022 in order to maintain qualification. This was provided to us over the Thanksgiving week, so we are passing this information to you as soon as we can.
Spring session 2022 will begin Tuesday, Jan 4th. As always, if there are any roster updates/changes, please let us know so we can start the session as smoothly as possible. As always, we are open to anyone interested in being a team captain or in bringing on a team. We love seeing new faces!

We are now down to the last 4 weeks of league everyone! Please make sure all your team members have a minimum of 4 matches in each discipline in order to qualify for any higher level tournament play! This includes playing in playoffs and in the Vegas Qualifier Tournament.
With the holidays coming up, we wanted to make sure everyone is aware of some upcoming dates. Next league date is 11/16/21, then off a week for Thanksgiving, before resuming league back on 11/30/21 through 12/14/21. Playoffs will take place 12/21/21 (right before Christmas), then we end the Fall session. Spring session will begin Tuesday 01/04/22. 8 Ball VQT is on Sat 01/08/22. 9 Ball VQT is on Sat 01/15/22. Vegas early registration is due by 01/17/22.
We apologize for not running the 10 Ball break & run this past Tuesday. We will resume this coming Tuesday with the current pot still at $1,390.00 with each ball worth $139.00 apiece. Good luck to the next drawn contestant!

We have dates for the Vegas Qualifying Tournament! Please enter them in your calendars and set reminders so as to not forget! 8 Ball VQT will take place Saturday, January 8, 2022, starting at 12:00 noon. 9 Ball VQT will take place Saturday, January 15, 2022, starting at 12:00 noon. The winner of the VQT will be the team that goes to Vegas in March 2022 – one for 8 and one for 9. Remember that each qualifying member needs to have a minimum of 4 matches in the discipline they are participating in, as well as the 2 original members requirement in order to maintain qualification. Please refer back to the 09/30/21 update post.

Another friendly reminder: Please remember to submit scoresheets (after checking with opponents to ensure they match) as well as submit league dues by the end of league night in order to get the full 100 bonus points (50 for scoresheet and 50 for dues). Throughout the session, these 100 points per week WILL add up (100 points per week at 14 weeks = potential 1400 points for each 8 and 9 ball) and could potentially push your team into qualification spots. This past Tuesday, one team did not submit 9 ball scoresheet and another team did not submit their dues in time. Don’t let these freebie points go to waste!

Even though we JUST returned from Vegas a couple weeks ago, we are gearing up for the next National Championship in 2022. Normally, the yearly event is held in March. However, it was pushed back to September this past year due to COVID restrictions. Next year, they are resuming the regular schedule and hosting it at the Rio from March 23 – April 2.
We are looking to run our Vegas Qualifier Tournament early January and to register all teams going to Vegas by January 17, 2022. Once dates are set, we will let everyone know. Keep in mind that this session, we will be qualifying TWO more teams into the VQT, so make all your points count! Also remember that qualifications remain the same as they did previously for 2021 – 2 original members must be on the roster, and all members on the roster must play a minimum of 4 matches in a single division session in 2021. Starting next Tuesday, bonus points will now be added to the mix. Reminder of how bonus points are earned: 50 for matching scoresheets to opponent’s + 50 for league dues paid at end of the night.
Please keep an eye out on win types as well. If unsure, check with your opponent’s team and see if they have the same info as you to ensure players get the correct patch.
