    Happy Monday everyone! Scores have been updated this past weekend. Congrats to Genaro M for an 8 B & R! Let’s also welcome our newest member: Francis L. We’re glad to have you join us!

    We have updates from the 2021 Vegas Nationals from the past two weeks. Great job to all those who went and did the best they could. This was our first time for Houston to represent USAPL, and we’re looking forward to sending more representation in the future. The rankings for us this year:

    Playoffs took place this past Tuesday. Congratulations to the winners of both 8 and 9 ball …. Chalk is Cheap! They beat out both Tuff Break in 8 and Night Moves in 9 to secure the second spot of the VQT for the summer session. Great job!

    As a reminder, Fall session starts next week, Tuesday 08/24/21. There will be a 2 week break for everyone on 08/31 and 09/07, then league resumes 09/14/21. Team captains – please let us know of any roster changes as soon as possible so we can set up the schedule and match-ups with accurate info.

    Starting Fall session this next Tuesday, we are adding a 10 ball Break & Run Pot. This is for USAPL members only. See below for details.

    As both Lady & Champs and Shot for Shot already qualified for the VQT 2022 from last session, the next teams to qualify for VQT automatically are: 8 ball – POCKET SHOTS and 9 ball – TUFF BREAK. Congrats to those two teams!

    The playoffs taking place tomorrow night will be between the following teams: 8 ball – Tuff Break vs Chalk is Cheap, and 9 ball – Night Moves vs Chalk is Cheap. Please come out and support these teams tomorrow!

    2021 FALL session will begin next week on Tuesday 08/24/21. We hope to see everyone again in the following weeks!

    Happy Monday everyone! Updates are completed. Congrats to the following patch winners: Jason K (8 TR) and Alex M (8 BR).

    Tomorrow is the last week of the summer session. Once all scores have been updated, the teams with lesser number of bye weeks will have points calculated to see who came in which place. A reminder that the bye week will be an average of total points earned per number of weeks played. Once numbers are calculated, the teams that will be playing in the playoffs the following week 08/17 will be announced.

    Fall session starts 08/24/21, so if you have any roster updates/changes, please let us know so we can get the first week started with as little hiccups as possible.

    Happy Friday everyone! Updates are completed. Congrats to the following patch winners: Alan A (8 BR) and Alex M (9 SNAP)! We would also like to welcome our two newest members: Calvin T and Patricia A. Glad to have you join us!

    There are two more weeks of summer session league left. Tues 08/17 is playoff week – playoff teams will be announced after the last week of play 08/10 after updates have been completed. Fall session will begin Tuesday 08/24/21, off two weeks for teams going to Vegas, then back on again every Tuesday thereafter (barring holiday weeks). Schedule has been put up online so please take a look at it to plan ahead. If you have any team roster changes, please let us know so we can start Fall session off without a hitch.

    There is an open 8 ball tournament tomorrow Saturday 07/31/21 at Jack’s for Cocktails off of Wilcrest. The host location is matching half the pot, so come through and participate! There will be BBQ on site and their drinks are well priced for the amount received. Doors open at noon and tournament starts at 1 PM. Click on flyer to register. Hope to see you there!

    Hello everyone! Updates are finally completed for all weeks. Congrats to the following patch winners: Ruben G (8 TR), Lauren C & Nick K (8 WZ), Anthony G & Phillip C (9 SNAP)!

    Apologies for the delay; the past week has been quite hectic for us! We officially kicked off our second location at Jack’s for Cocktails on the Southwest side of town. We now have an additional 4 teams added to our USAPL family! 10 ball has been introduced to that league and we hope to bring it to all locations in one way or another. More info on that to come later!

    After tomorrow, there are only 2 more weeks left in the summer session! Fall Session schedule will be a bit different due to the Vegas Nationals falling in September. Due to a large portion of the league being out of town, we have shifted the off week towards the beginning of the league rather than the end. Fall session will consist of 14 weeks and schedule will be as follows:

    Quick update today. The scores will not be updated for Week 11 until after next Tuesday due to some scoring discrepancies that are currently being worked on. Apologies for the delay. Weeks 11 and 12 scores will be updated together next week.

    Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend so far. Apologies for the delay; we had some discrepancies that have now been resolved. Week 10 updates are now completed. Quick reminder to please make sure that all your scores are submitted by the end of the night after comparing with your opponent’s.

    We have a confirmed start date for the SW side on Thursday nights at Jack’s. If anyone is interested in a “No Slop League Night”, we will be playing 8 ball and 10 ball starting JULY 22nd. This will be our first time featuring a 10 ball league in the Houston area. Come check it out and join for some fun!

    Welcome to July everyone! Can you believe it’s already a new month?! Just 6 weeks left in the Summer Session! Updates have been completed. Congrats to the following patch winners: Genaro M (8 TR) and KC (9 SNAP). We would also like to welcome the three newest members to USAPL: KC, Alan A, and Will S! Welcome aboard, you guys! We are glad to have you with us. 🙂

    We have been working REALLY hard in the background and are glad to announce yet another new host location! R House Bar & Grill off of FM 529 will be our newest spot! They have all DIAMOND tables (fifteen 7′ and two 9′) and we are excited to get something started there. We are looking forward to an open 9 ball tournament being scheduled on SUNDAY, 07/11/21. Come out and support us and check out this new place, recently opened in June!

    Jack’s for Cocktails on the Southwest side will be looking to start their first league play on THURSDAY 07/22/21. Teams are forming now! If you know anyone interested in playing in that area, please send them our way. We have spots available!

    We are sooooo excited to see this amount of growth! We’re hoping 2023 VQT will see a lot of new faces meeting each other and getting some new blood into the USAPL system.

    Hope everyone is staying cool out there! Week 8 updates have been completed. Congrats to the following patch winners: Nancy P (8 WZ), Robert B (8 BR), and Alex M (9 BR).

    For those who are heading to Vegas come September, we received some news. This whole time, we were under the impression that we’d be playing on 9′ Diamond tables. However, corporate office has confirmed the tournaments will be played on 7′ Diamond tables. Only the pros will be playing on 9′ tables. While unfortunate, we do have a remedy for this, which brings us to the next topic …

    We now have yet another new host location! BIGGles on Wilcrest and Harwin will be the newest place to welcome USAPL! We are working with the location to try and get some teams going in the Fall session. Spread the word to anyone who might be interested to play in that area! BIGGles has all 7′ Diamond tables, which gives us the ability to host practice sessions in the future. We also have in the works an open 9 ball tournament being scheduled on SATURDAY, 07/17/21. Come out and support us and maybe win a few bucks while at it. 😉 More details on that to come!
